okay so um you may be having issues with trying to open up a csv file that actually displays um a font which is not coming displaying correctly so here i have some russian acrylic fonts that are not being displayed as they should so what ive done is thats a csv file so what ill do is ill open up excel open a blank document and then ill go to data and ill go from text and then ill find um the file open and here uh its its coming through this is unicode utf-8 ill press next ill just need to because its a csv comma i think theres a csv um added variable or something but in here so im just going to click comma as a delimiter and press next and then finish and then okay and here we go so this is all in russian all right so thats how you open a csv and in excel this is windows 2016 version of excel so thats thats how you can do it hopefully that puts you on the right track okay cheers bye

If you have opened a csv file and found weird characters in it, chances are you are using Excel. All of WebCollects exports are in the "UTF8" character set, which covers all international characters correctly. Some versions of Excel have trouble opening csv files that use UTF8 format.
