Change the starting slide number On the Design tab, in the Customize group, click Slide Size, and then click Custom Slide Size. In the Slide Size dialog box, in the Number slides from box, enter the number that you want to show on the first slide in your presentation, and then click OK.
On the slide, select the lines of text in a text placeholder or table that you want to add bullets or numbering to. On the HOME tab, in the Paragraph group, click Bullets or Numbering. To change all lines of text, select the outline of the text object, and then apply the bullet or numbering.
In order to keep the amount of information in each bullet point concise and to keep the slide from looking cluttered, you should keep the six by six guideline in mind. It states that each slide should aim to have no more than six bullet points and each bullet point should aim to have no more than six words.
View a Presentation The first view is the Normal View. In this view, you edit one slide at a time by adding text, graphics and clip art. The second view is the Slide Sorter View. The third view is the Reading View. The fourth view is the Slide Show View.
Re-position the slide numbers On the View tab, select Slide Master. At the top of the thumbnail pane, select the Slide Master thumbnail. In the Slide pane, select and hold the page number placeholder until you see the four-headed arrow, and drag it to a new location. When youre finished, select Close Master View.
Note: Select Home Reset if you made layout changes you dont like, and want to revert to the original layout. Using Reset doesnt delete any content youve added.
