so you have a Mac and you have a really big PDF file that you want to shrink down maybe you want to send it in an email or something Im going to show you how to do it a few different ways lets get into it [Music] all right welcome back to the channel and as you know my channel is all about reviews of equipment hubs computers everything and I also do tutorials like this and learning stuff so hopefully you guys can subscribe to my channel its going to help me grow this is going to be more if you have a PDF file that you just got sent and you have a Mac and you want to go ahead and you want to decrease the size of it at various levels because you need to email it and theres an email and maybe theres a size limit on the emails or maybe you just want to store it away for your future reference but you dont want it to be so big to take up your disk space its very you know valuable on a Mac you know that so what we can do is theres a couple different ways and what Im going to show you

How to compress PDFs on your PC. Launch Acrobat Pro and open the Optimize PDF tool. Locate your PDF and click Open. Click the Reduce File Size button on the top menu. Select the compatibility option you want and click OK. Rename your file (if necessary) and click Save.
Open a file in Acrobat. Click the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text or update fonts using selections from the Format list.
Note: You can also edit a PDF using other browsers like Google Chrome or Opera, but youll first need to a plug-in. To get started, simply right-click the PDF file you want to edit.
After your file is open, Go to File Save as Other Reduced Size PDF. Select the Acrobat version that is compatible with the features in your PDF file. To potentially reduce the file size greatly, choose later versions of Acrobat. We generally recommend two versions below the most current.
Step 1: the Glasp browser extension As mentioned above, we will use Glasp to annotate PDFs. So, first of all, please the Glasp browser extension. Its available on Chrome, Safari, Brave, Edge, and Opera. After you the extension, please pin it on the toolbar so as not to lose it.
By default, Opera opens PDF files in the Opera browser window. To disable this and have PDF files open in your PDF Reader program (docHub Reader or other), follow the steps below. Click the Opera menu button in the upper left corner, click More tools and select Show developer menu.
Open the web page you want to save as a PDF. Right-click anywhere on the webpage and select Print or press Ctrl + P (Cmd + P on Mac) to open the Print dialog box. Select Save as PDF under Destination. Adjust other settings like layout, paper size, margins, and more to customize the PDF output if required.
Once you see the Dashboard, you can Edit PDF page in Opera by uploading it from your device or linking it from your online storage platform. Open the file for editing and make any needed changes with the help of our easy-to-use toolbar.
