[Music] okay to share a folder from ubuntu 22.04 over your local network to other linux machines or a windows 11 machine right click the folder you want to share then click local network share then check the box share this folder okay if you get this pop-up sharing service not installed go ahead and click service okay then you get additional software samba click and youll have to enter your password okay next you can check the box to allow others to create and delete files in this folder or check to allow guest access for people without user accounts i havent been able to get that one to work yet so you can leave it unchecked you can also add a comment okay when youre done here you can just click the button called create share then click add the permissions automatically and you can see on your pictures folder theres now a sharing icon then go to a terminal type sudo g password dash dash add and a username and then samba share next type sudo s-m-b-p-a-s-s-w-d and were going to
