Hi everyone, Steve Patterson here from Photoshop Essentials. In this video, I show you how easy it is to fill a shape with an image in Photoshop. This is an update to my original video from way back in 2017. And this time, I show you a couple of ways to speed things up, including a faster way to draw your shape, and how to open your image as a layer in the same document as your shape. And at the end, Ill show you how to remove the background and how to save the file so you can add your shape and the image inside it to any background you like. To follow along, youll want to be using Photoshop 2022 or later. Lets get started! Well start by creating a new document. If youre on the Home Screen, click the New file button. Or you can go up to the File menu and choose New. Either way opens the New Document dialog box. For this tutorial, Ill create a square-shaped document by setting both the width and the height to 2000 pixels. Ill set the Resolution to 300 pixels per inch, and Ill l

A notification is a message that Android displays outside your apps UI to provide the user with reminders, communication from other people, or other timely information from your app. Users can tap the notification to open your app or take an action directly from the notification.
A good example of persistent notifications would be Google maps, which notifies you about the traffic in your area. Or the notification that prompts you about the weather. These notifications would only populate if for example an active navigation route is set and then you move away from the app.
Option 1: In your Settings app Open your phones Settings app. Tap Notifications. App settings. Under Most recent, find apps that recently sent you notifications. To find more apps, in the dropdown menu, tap All apps. Tap the app. Turn the apps notifications on or off.
A permanent notification is a (usually silent) alert displayed by certain apps on your Android smartphone or tablet at all times to let you know theyre running in the background.
When you issue a notification, it first appears as an icon in the status bar. Figure 1. Notification icons appear on the left side of the status bar. Users can swipe down on the status bar to open the notification drawer, where they can view more details and take actions with the notification.
Open Settings and under Manage app, search for the app whose icon is missing, and tap to open it. Do you notice an option to Start/Enable the app? It could be under the App Info menu, depending on the make and model of your phone. If yes, most probably, the app is disabled, and you need to re-enable it.
Go to Settings Focus. Tap Do Not Disturb. You can select allowed or silenced notifications from people and apps, connect your Lock Screen or Home Screen, have this Focus turn on automatically, and add Focus filters.
Allow or silence notifications from specific people during a Focus. Go to Settings Focus, then choose a Focusfor example, Do Not Disturb, Personal, Sleep, or Work. , then select from your contacts.
From the home screen, pull down from the top to view notifications. Find the OnLocation notification, then swipe it to the side. Select the Settings icon. Tap the Auto sign in/out optimization option.
Notification types can be broadly classified into three levels of severity: high, medium, and low attention. Each level of severity corresponds to a different level of urgency and attention required by the user.
