JPEG images contain 24-bit RGB color information, which means they are comprised of colors from the true color space of millions of colors (see Chapter 3, Web Design Principles for Print Designers for a description of 24-bit color). JPEG files can also carry grayscale images.
Once you upload your photo, you can access a variety of effects options. Tap on Effects and choose the Invert option to watch your photos colors change to their inverted versions. This easy process only takes seconds!
Adjusting image color and tone with adjustment layers In the Adjustments panel, click the tool icon for the adjustment you want to make: For tonality and color, click Levels or Curves. For adjusting color, click Color Balance or Hue/Saturation. In the Properties panel, adjust the adjustment layer tool settings.
JPEG files are usually encoded from an RGB source image into a YCbCr intermediate before they are compressed, then when decoded are rendered back to RGB.
