hey everybody jeremy here from shade tree vintage auto and dd auto salvage uh today i want to do just a really quick video on tires and safety i know a lot of people really like old tires such as like the old formula one super stocks and just the look of the old ones as they match your car i 100 percent completely agree they look so awesome and really there needs to be more of a market of aftermarket reproductions of those old ones that being said old tires are not safe and i know a lot of people think well theyve been inside for so many years theyre not weather checked or anything like that doesnt matter they do break down and they have problems so im going to show you a couple really quick so this tire right here this is a old cooper cobra gts the tread on it is actually really nice and you can see its not weather checked um it was on a car inside of a garage that never gets driven and wasnt even being driven and it separated it came apart i mean you can see its its junk um
