hello my name is clay preston today im going to teach you about shading and highlighting within word alright first you can accompany hes got designed to and choose your color Im going to choose doing yellow because I like fixing then to shade or if your gonna go over top the word and up to this bucket you go to choose a color I prefer this one I like it looks good now shading it covers the entire line with highlighting if you come up to this and choose your word again go up to this little paintbrush up here choose it choose your color good choose any color you want to choose yellow and only highlights your word it does not highlight the entire line thank you for watching this video if you enjoyed leave a like and subscribe

What is the text highlight color? The text highlight color can vary depending on the program used when text is highlighted. For example, in Microsoft Word, many text editors, and on most browsers, the text is highlighted in a blue box. Other programs may highlight text in a black box.
To do this: Open the file in Preview on an Android phone. Tap on the annotations icon at the bottom of the preview screen to open the annotations toolbar. Next, select the highlight text tool. Tap and drag on a section of text within the file itself to highlight it.
Highlight text Select the text that you want to highlight. On the Home tab, select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color . Choose a color. The text you selected will be highlighted in the color you chose.
Select the shape or text box. On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Shape Fill More Fill Colors. In the Colors box, either click the color you want on the Standard tab, or mix your own color on the Custom tab. Custom colors and colors on the Standard tab arent updated if you later change the document theme.
Highlight text Select the text that you want to highlight. On the Home tab, select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color . Choose a color. The text you selected will be highlighted in the color you chose.
Replies (4)  Go to the starting point of the text you want to highlight. Hold down the shift key. While the shift key is held down, press the right arrow key to highlight the text going to the right side. Once you have covered the text you want to highlight, let go off the shift key.
There are several ways to do it, including the use of paragraph and character styles. Highlighting with paragraph rules. If all the text is in a single-line paragraph, you can use a paragraph rule. Highlighting with paragraph shading. Highlighting with character styles.
If you want to highlight one word at a time, press Ctrl while holding down Shift , and then press Left arrow or Right arrow . If you want to highlight a whole line of text, move your cursor to the start of the line, hold Shift , and then press Down arrow .
