OK, I started up Cricut Design Space, and Ive logged in, and now well start a New Project. Well come over here to Upload on the lower left, and then Im going to click Upload Image, and Ill browse. Now Ill choose the image that Im going to use today. And this is a PNG image. You can also use a JPEG. OK, and now well select the image type. For something like this with a bunch of colors and different things going on, youll want to choose Complex, and then well Continue. Now Im going to zoom out a little bit, so Ill come up here and do that. By default, JPG pictures contain 16 million colors (full RGB spectrum) but with this tool, you can make it have any number of colors, such as 256 colors (as in GIFs), or 8 colors (as in BMPs). Similarly, you can create a JPG consisting of only two color tones (called a binary picture).
Recolor a picture Click the picture and the Format Picture pane appears. On the Format Picture pane, click . Click Picture Color to expand it. Under Recolor, click any of the available presets. If you want to switch back to the original picture color, click Reset.
