All schools using the Common App will receive transcripts automatically as part of the Secondary School Report and Letter of Recommendation process. If you need transcripts for other schools not using the Common App, some may accept them electronically: 1.
Submitting Your Transcripts Some schools will want you to submit your transcripts in two ways: an unofficial copy submitted directly through the schools application platform, and another, official, copy submitted via mail. Others may just want an official copy submitted to them by mail.
During the application process, you will likely be asked to send transcripts to verify your academic history (i.e., classes taken, grades). Most colleges/universities ask applicants to send transcripts directly to the campus and to Common Application portal.
On average, it takes up to five business days for your transcript to post to your application from the date we receive it.

Transcripts are generated by the education board of conduct, which can be received from the academic institute where you have pursued your education. These may either be procured by visiting the institution physically or by contacting the authorities and requesting them to send them via post.
Log in to your Common App account. Click My Application, and then click Colleges Attended. 2. Next to each college/program you have selected, you will see a notation about transcripts and a link to order transcripts.
Applicants may monitor the check status page in the application to ensure transcripts are received. On average, it takes 7-10 business days for transcripts to post to an application from the date they are received by the Common App transcript processing center.
