In PowerPoint for Microsoft 365, the default font for text boxes and shapes is Calibri, with a font size of 18 points.
If you want to change the slide master, you can always go to View - Slide Master and change the master layout. If you want to reset the master slide in PowerPoint, go to View Slide Master option once again. Change the settings the way you want and save as blank.
Change the default font in PowerPoint Click View Slide Master. On the Slide Master tab, click the Fonts drop-down menu. Select the font you want to use for all the slides in the presentation. Click Close Master View. The text throughout your presentation is automatically updated to the new font.
Right-click the text box that has the formats you want to use as the default. On the shortcut menu, click Format Text Box, and then click the Colors and Lines tab. Select the Apply settings to new text boxes check box. Click OK.
Change the fonts throughout your presentation On the slide master or layout, click the title text or the level of body text that you want to apply a new font style to. On the Slide Master tab, in the Background group, click Fonts, and then select a font from the list.
Add and format text Select a text box and type some text. To format, select the text, and select an option to change the font, spacing, or alignment. To create bulleted or numbered lists, select the text, and then select Bullets or Numbering.
Go to Format Font Font. + D to open the Font dialog box. Select the font and size you want to use. Select Default, and then select Yes.
Go to Format Slide Layout to open the Slide Layout task pane. Select the slides you want to reapply the master layout to. In the Slide Layout task pane, find the layout that you want to reapply. Click the arrow on that layout and then select Reapply Layout.
