Add a shadow to an object Select the picture, AutoShape, WordArt, or text box that you want to change. On the Format tab, click Text Effects or Shape Effects Shadow. Do one of the following: Add or remove a shadow. To add a shadow, click the shadow style you want. To remove a shadow, click No Shadow.
Select the text or WordArt that you want to format. On the Format tab, under Text Styles, click Effects, point to Shadow, and then click the shadow style that you want.
Select the text you want to change. In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. If the text is in a table cell, click the Cell tab at the top of the sidebar instead of the Style button. In the Font section, click the Action pop-up menu , then select the Shadow checkbox.
In the character Properties area, there is a button for More Options. Click that button and a window opens with additional options. There are three tabs, one of which is for font effects. You can add shadow to your text in that area.
Open the Effects Presets panel using either Command+5 on a Mac or Ctrl+5 on a PC. Type Drop Shadow in the search field. Drag the Drop Shadow effect onto your timeline layer or directly onto the composition scene. Alternatively, you can navigate to the Effect tab and choose Perspective Drop Shadow.

Select the text that you want to add an effect to. On the Home tab, in the Font group, click Text Effect. Click the effect that you want. For more choices, point to Outline, Shadow, Reflection, or Glow, and then click the effect that you want to add.
From Text to AutoText Write a phrase or sentence on your screen, then select the text. Choose AutoText from the applications Tools menu, or press Ctrl + F3 from your keyboard to open the relevant LibreOffice Writer window.
Select the text or WordArt that you want to format. On the Format tab, under Text Styles, click Effects, point to Shadow, and then click the shadow style that you want.
