With your presentation open, go to the ribbon, and select Slide Show, then the Record Slide Show drop-down menu. Now select where youd like to record from From Beginning or From Current Slide. Ill select From Beginning. Before you record, make sure you have the correct microphone input selected under Settings, so you dont have to re-do your recordings. If I click it, I can see I have the correct microphone input selected, so Im ready to record. To begin recording, select Record, then start speaking. The Recording tab does not appear on the Ribbon in PowerPoint 365 or 2019 by default so you may need to enable it. Go to File Options and choose Customize Ribbon. On the right side list of Main Tabs scroll down to Recording, check the box next to it, and click OK.
