here is a little known technique to change your header or footer margins go into the header or footer by double clicking up pops your design ribbon for the header or footer right here in the position section is your header position from the top and the footer position from the bottom now watch what happens Im in the header watch what happens when I start adjusting this watch right in here see how that changes change it from the top there I can go as far high and low as I want it to be to get that margin that I want I can also come in here and I can also put a couple in turn there let me take that back out and again adjust this anyway I wish same thing for the footer if I want to put a footer in here I come up to the footer position and I can adjust it there

Follow these steps: Open the header or footer area, depending on which one you want to change. Type the text you want left-aligned in the header or footer. Display the Header Footer tab of the ribbon or, in Word 2007, the Design tab of the ribbon. In the Position group, click the Insert Alignment Tab tool.
Pixel width: 2500 pixels is perfect for stretching full-screen across a browser in most cases. Any image smaller than that might get cut off or appear blurry if it needs to fill the browser width.
Use the footer image to add further design or sponsor information to the bottom of your event on web view. Requirements: JPG, PNG, or GIF, and less than 2MB in size. We recommend a 2400px width and 500px height. Go to Settings = Appearance.
Click VIEW Ruler. Double-click the header or footer area. Press CTRL+A. On the ruler, drag the right indent marker.
To get the best resolution for your email footer, it is recommended to choose image or header greater than 600x100 pixels, such as 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1280 x 375 pixels, 1024 x 300 pixels and 800 x 200 pixels.
Header graphics should be between 600-700 pixels wide, with a proportional height (we use 100-200px as a general guideline for height).
Add Your Footer Image Requirements: JPG, PNG, or GIF, and less than 2MB in size. We recommend a 2400px width and 500px height.
To avoid this Jobscience recommends using headers and footers that are one hundred to two hundred pixels smaller than the width of the . pdf page. On most resumes this will be around 2000 pixels, so we recommend any header/footer images that you intend to use be around 1800 to 1900 pixels wide.
