The cell margin is the distance between the cell border and the cell contents and is specified for all four sides of a cell (or table cell in the displayed HTML).
To do this, follow these steps: Open the Excel workbook. Click the Page Layout tab. In the Page Setup group, click Page Setup to open the Page Setup dialog box. In the Page Setup dialog box, click to select the Adjust to option, enter a number for the scale, and then click OK.
Under "Settings", select the Normal Margins drop-down menu. Choose a different pre-set option, or select Custom Margins..., adjust the values for each margin that you want to change, and click OK.
