Create Folder Launch PowerPoint. Click File and select Save As from the tab ribbon. Select the destination in which to store your PowerPoint folder from the menu pane in the Save As dialog box. Click the icon of a folder with an asterisk from the Save As toolbar to create a new folder.
Add animations and effects Select the object or text you want to animate. Select Animations and choose an animation. Select Effect Options and choose an effect.
