In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation Workflows. Click the name of an existing workflow, or create a new workflow. Click the plus icon + to add a workflow action. In the right panel, select Create record.
In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects, then select the object youd like to create a team sidebar for (e.g., Contacts, Companies, etc.). Click the Record Customization tab. Click Customize the left sidebar. In the right panel, you can create, edit, or delete team views.
Click the settings icon from the main navigation bar of your HubSpot account. Go to CRM Contacts companies in the left sidebar menu. Click on the tab Companies. Click to toggle Automatically create and associate companies with contacts to switch it on.
HubSpot can also automatically create companies based on your contacts email addresses and associate the records.
To access the collaboration sidebar: In your HubSpot account, navigate to the asset that you want to comment on. In the top right, click the first arrow icon to expand the sidebar.
Associated Company is a relationship between a Contact Record and a Company Record, and Company name is a text field on the Contact Record - the two are completely independent of each other.
Associate records and set an association label In the request URL, include: objectType: the type of the object youre associating (e.g. contact). objectId: the ID of the record to associate. toObjectType: the type of object youre associating the record to (e.g. company).
Custom objects: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts [Custom object]. If your account has more than one custom object, hover over Custom Objects, then select the custom object you want to view.
When a new visitor fills in and submits a HubSpot form, a contact record for their email address will be created in HubSpot automatically. You can create a contact manually or automatically through the conversations tool. When a user sends a tracked and logged email to a prospect, a contact is created automatically.
