What is Debit Card number? You must have noticed a 16-digit number on the front side of your Debit Card. This is known as the Debit Card number. This number is unique and primarily represents and identifies your Debit Card.
Your card is valid. Is the debit or credit card account number the same as the card number? No. The entire 16-digit numeric sequence on the front of the card is the card number.
Find the number located on the front of your card. Your credit card number should be either printed or embossed in raised numbers across the front of your card. This is usually a 16-digit number, although it may be anywhere from 12 to 19 digits.
We recommend using the test card 4111 1111 1111 1111 for Visa, 5431 1111 1111 1111 for MasterCard, 3711 1111 1111 114 for Amex, and 3600 0000 0000 08 for Diners. These can be used with any expiry date, 3 digit (4 digit for Amex) CVC and are suitable only for Windcave test accounts.
The final four digits of a credit card number are known as the check digit. This digit is used to validate the credit card number, and it is not part of the actual credit card number. However, you may be able to contact the credit card issuer and ask for the full credit card number.
These are referred to as the cards Issuer Identification Number (IIN), or Bank Identification Number (BIN), and further indicate which credit card company it originates from and clarifies to which card network it belongs. Following the numbers that identify the issuer are the numbers that identify the account holder.
Whats CVC? The CVC is the four-digit number located on the front of the credit card. The four-digit number is located on the right or left above the account number. The CVC is the three-digit number located on the back of the credit card, immediately after the last four digits of the credit card number.
Look for the 4-digit code printed on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main credit card number. This 4-digit code is your Card Identification Number (CID). The CID is the four-digit code printed just above the Account Number.
