[Music] this is Nick with illustrator for beginners dot-com and in todays tutorial Ill be demonstrating tape can create this vector banner with text using docHub Illustrator so Ill go ahead and get started here in docHub Illustrator Im gonna open up a new document Im gonna set it to 1280 by 1280 pixels and then I just want to set up the document so that were all working with this similar view Im gonna go up here where it says view and where it says snap to pixel Ill turn that off in fact where it says view the only thing we want to visible or checked rather is snap to point and then well go over a window to make sure we have all of these panels open Im going to choose ctrl align color and transparency those are the three or four boxes youll want checked there so the first thing were going to do is create some text so Im going to grab the text tool and Im gonna click on the canvas to add some dummy text there and Im going to choose a different font here the font Im gonna
