Apparently amazon does not make a kindle reader for use with linux. They seem to for iphones, mac, android, and windows. On linux calibre seems able to read the kindle books, though it does not connect directly to kindle. You might be able to use the installer for the kindle reader with wine, but I have not tried that.
Use the USB cable that came with your e-reader device and connect it to your computer. Double select Android File Transfer. Browse the files and folders on your computer and drag and drop them into the Documents folder on Kindle Scribe.
How to convert Kindle to PDF is as follows: and download Calibre. Select Add books from the menu. To add a Kindle book to Calibre, navigate to it and double-click on it. Choose the additional book. Select Convert Books from the menu. Choose PDF from the Output format drop-down option. Click OK.
Upload Via Send to Kindle On amazon.com/sendtokindle, click Select files from device and select the book you want on your Kindle. This tool supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF, HTM, HTML, PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG, BMP, and EPUB formats on ebooks up to 200MB in size. (Amazon no longer supports sending new Mobi files.)
Simply follow these four steps to convert your eBook to PDF: Navigate to docHub online services Convert to PDF page. Drag and drop the file you want to convert or select the File button to navigate to your file. Your PDF will be ready within moments. Download or share your new PDF file.
Step 1: Select Add books and find you downloaded file. Choose Open and itll be imported to Calibre and the DRM stripped away. Step 2: Right-click on your imported book and then go to Convert books Convert individually. Step 3: Make sure the Output format is set to PDF and select OK.
How to transfer library Kindle Books via USB On Amazons website, go to your Content Devices page, then select Books. Find the title, then select More actions. Select Download transfer via USB in the pop-up window. Follow Amazons prompts to finish the transfer. If you have any problems, visit Amazon Help.
To learn how to send a PDF to your Kindle simply follow these four steps: Find your Kindle email address. Sign in to your Amazon account, and click Account and Lists on the top toolbar, Your Devices and Content, and Manage Devices. Approve your personal email address. Email the PDF to your Kindle. Sync your Kindle.
