Enter the recipient's fax number and press the send button. The machine will scan the documents and transmit them to the remote fax. The sounds you hear during this process are called "handshake tones," indicating that the machines are communicating about the transmission speed. After the fax is successfully sent, your machine will display a confirmation, and you can also configure it to print a transmission report verifying that the documents were sent.
