The tutorial begins by using DocHub Reader to open the PDF and identify pages to extract. Instead of using Acrobat Reader, Google Chrome is used to extract the desired pages. Users can download Google Chrome for free from google.com/chrome and then right-click on the PDF to open with Google Chrome. To extract pages, users can hover over the toolbar, click on print destination, and select "save as PDF."
