Gary from MacMost.com demonstrates the PDF annotation tools in Mac Preview, highlighting the option to add annotations without altering the original PDF content. While Preview allows for markups, changing the content requires going back to the source document. Users can add notes, editor comments, and text to the PDF, but for substantial changes, creating a new version of the document in a different app and exporting it is recommended.
