So if you do add maybe two of these methods or perhaps even three of these methods then its even better. Lets go onto method number one, which is using a PDF protection tool such as PDF2Go. So go to PDF2Go.com and then where you go is to the Protect PDF option. So if you go to all tools, theres an option to click on Protect PDF. From here you simply drag and drop your file right here. So this option is for PDF documents specifically. So lets say Ive got this ebook right here that I want to protect or password protect specifically thatll upload it as you can see and then while we wait for that, we can just choose a password that we want. Select the PDF file you want to reorganise. Sign in after Acrobat uploads the file. Select the page thumbnails you want to move and drag and drop the selected pages into a new location.
To start, drop your multipage PDF file or upload it from your device or your cloud storage service. Our tool will automatically start to reverse the page order of the file. Download the reversed PDF file to your computer or save it directly to your cloud storage service.
Open the PDF and choose Tools Protect Encrypt Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
How to rearrange pages in a PDF: Open the Organize Pages tool from the top menu or the right pane (Tools Organize Pages) Select one or more page thumbnails (page numbers are underneath). Right-click the file and select Properties. Uncheck the box for Read-only and click OK. Use online or offline PDF converters to change PDF to editable file formats. Then you can edit the PDF as you like.
Click the Select a file button above or drag and drop a PDF into the drop zone. Enter a password, then retype it to confirm the password. Click Set password. Download the password protected PDF document, or sign in to share it.
On Windows, just right-click your PDF and select Properties Read-only OK. On a Mac computer, the process is a little more complex. Select the PDF and click File Get Info. You can then set access rights under the Sharing Permissions tab.
Right-click on the file. In the menu that appears, select Lock File.
