all right YouTube so to make this short I created an example secure PDF as you can see I can try to edit copy cut and paste and nothing works Ive run into this a few times and really needed to be able to modify something for you have to thats why youre here so go ahead and close that window once youve run into that problem open up Google Chrome have your file destination ready and drag that file right into Google itll pull up the preview window youll simply click on print in the right-hand corner and make sure your destination is save as PDF were gonna hit save rename the file because you never want to overwrite an original just never a good thing to do now weve got that new file we just saved looks exactly like the original that we couldnt modify only now the security settings have been overridden and we are good to go thats all there is to it no scams no spam no websites so if this was helpful be sure and give it a like check out my other channel subscribe thanks for watchi

Open the PDF document you would like to password protect, select the Tools tab, scroll down to find the Protect Standardize section, select Protect. 2. The Protect tool bar will appear, select the Encrypt button drop menu. Here you can either Encrypt with a Certificate or Encrypt with a Password.
Some documents, such as editable forms, may not be able to use password protection. In these cases, you might bump into an error message telling you that the file could not be saved due to a bad parameter. The trick here is to save a copy of the file and then password protect the copy.
You dont need any special apps or software to encrypt a PDF you just need to add password protection, and you can do it quickly using an iPhone. Acrobat online makes it easy to password protect any PDF, creating a secure, encrypted file.
How to set a password to protect PDFs on Android. Navigate to the password protection page in your preferred browser using your Android device. Click the button labeled Select a file to choose and upload your PDF from your Android. Create and enter a strong password, then retype it to confirm.
3. Password Protect a PDF with Microsoft Word (Free) Launch Microsoft Word. Press Open Browse. Find and Open the PDF you want to protect. Click Ok. Click the File menu. Click Export Create PDF/XPS file. Press the Options button. Select checkbox: Encrypt the document with a password, then click OK.
