This video tutorial demonstrates how to reduce the size of a PDF file without compromising quality. The original file was 4.1 MB. By following the steps in the video, the file was compressed using a free online tool. The tool allows you to choose between extreme compression, recommended compression, and less compression based on the content of the PDF. After selecting the compression level and initiating the compression process, the file size was reduced by 76%, from 4.12 MB to a smaller size.

Reduce File Size of PDF File in Acrobat Pro With Acrobat Pro open, go to File Open. After your file is open, Go to File Save as Other Reduced Size PDF. Select the Acrobat version that is compatible with the features in your PDF file. Re-name your file and Click Save.
Open a PDF in Acrobat. Open the Optimize PDF tool from the pane on the right. Click Advanced Optimization in the toolbar at the top and specify your compression needs, then click OK. Select a location to save your file and select Save.
Select a PDF to reduce its file size fast. Your files will be securely handled by docHub servers and deleted unless you sign in to save them.
One-click option to protect a PDF with a password Open the PDF in Acrobat. Do any of the following: Go to All tools Protect a PDF Protect with password. In the Protect Using Password dialog box, select if you want to set the password for viewing or editing the PDF. Type and retype your password. Select Apply.

Click on the Protect Document drop-down menu, and choose Encrypt with Password. Upload Your Document to Google Docs: Upload your password-protected Word document to Google Docs or Drive as you would with any other file. Encrypt Your PDF Document: Open your PDF document in Acrobat Pro.
You have to click on a DOCUMENT and select OPEN WITH and then select Password Protect. You can then select the document (again?) and then set a password.
