hi im paul clark from red moon software and today im going to demo to you comment security to default for jira data center and server this plugin allows you to set the default security level for new comments those new comments could be the ones created at the bottom of the issue in the assigned dialogue attached dialogue log work transition etc anywhere theres a new comment field this will allow you to set the default those defaults can be project roles as well as user groups if you use user groups then youll need to configure this underneath the admin system tab general configuration this is the configuration screen for comment security default there are also configuration screens on each project where you can override the settings and you can also set up to have just a project that has defaults and not everyone so we click on this check box we can come along and say i want to add a default administrators to the assigned dialogue the edit issue dialog and new comments new comment
