Start by opening the docHub Reader program, go to preferences, select internet, and ensure display PDF in browser and allow fast webview are checked. Then, open Mozilla Firefox, go to tools, options, and applications tab to enable docHub in Firefox. Close the browser, open Internet Explorer or Firefox, and search for "test PDF" to access a PDF for browser viewing.

How to search for a word in a PDF using any PDF reader Open a PDF with your default PDF reader. Press CTRL+F (Windows) or CMD+F (Mac). Enter your search term in the search bar. The first match will be highlighted. Press Enter or use the up and down-facing arrows to move between the search results.
3. Search a PDF Using a Web Browser Right click on your PDF file, click Open with, and select Firefox. Press Ctrl+F, type the searched word in the search box and press Enter. Click on the Highlight All checkbox to highlight all occurrences of the searched word in the document.
Its possible that maybe one of your installed add-ons is overriding the default Ctrl + F functionality. Try running Firefox in Safe Mode to see if the issue still occurs. If it doesnt happen in Safe Mode, the problem is likely caused by an add-on.
If you need to add stuff to a PDF document, now you can do that online with Firefox. Open the PDF in Firefox and click the Text or Draw buttons in the upper right corner to make changes to your document. Download the file to save it with your changes.
Simply do this: Click the address bar or press Ctrl + L to focus it. You can skip this if you have just opened Firefox, a new tab or a new window. Type your search term in the address bar. Press Enter, or click the arrow on the right end of the address bar.
Using the Find bar then click Find in This page, or use the keyboard shortcut by pressing Ctrl+F. A find bar will appear at the bottom of the window. Type a search into the find field. Firefox will automatically highlight the first matching result on the page as you type.
