Easily locate files with specific words in their content, even if you don't know which file they are in. Open the file or folder you want to search, click on the search bar, select advanced options, choose file content and system file, and then search for the desired content. Make sure to check both options if needed.

Step 1: Open docHub Reader and click on Edit and then Advanced Search. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut [Shift] + [Ctrl] + [F]. Step 2: A separate window will open for the advanced search. Here you can set whether you want to search in the current PDF document or in multiple PDFs at once.
When a PDF is opened in the Acrobat Reader (not in a browser), the search window pane may or may not be displayed. To display the search/find window pane, use Ctrl+F.
Use the Find command to search a PDF. Press Ctrl+F if youre using a Windows computer device, or press Command+F if youre using a Mac computer. Then, you can enter the word or text you want to locate in the Find dialog box, which will allow you to select Next or Previous to move through the search results.
How To Search for a Word in a PDF Using Any PDF Reader Open any PDF with your default PDF reader. Press CTRL+F (Windows) or CMD+F (Mac). In the text box, enter your search term. The first match will be highlighted. Press Enter or click the right arrow to navigate between the results.
Open your PDF with your default PDF reader. Press the control (Ctrl) button and the F key simultaneously. A text box will pop up type in the keyword or phrase you want to locate in the box. The first matching word or phrase will be highlighted in the PDF.
One of the main reasons why PDFs are not searchable is that they dont include any text. The PDF may be a scanned document or just an image-based document. If thats the case, then there is no searchable text. You can read the text within the image-based document, but the PDF tool cannot.
Press Ctrl + F for Windows and Command+F for macOS to open the Find toolbar. On the Find toolbar, select the ellipsis, and then select Advanced Search. Search appears as a separate window that you can move, resize, minimize, or arrange partially or completely behind the PDF window.
Use the Find toolbar to quickly search the current PDF and replace text. Press Ctrl+F for Windows or Command + F for macOS to open the Find toolbar. Enter the word you want to search for.
