[Music] hello everyone how are you doing this is md tech here with another quick tutorial in todays tutorial im going to show you guys how to highlight text in pdf documents in the microsoft edge web browser this is a pretty straightforward tutorial and without further ado lets go ahead and jump right into it so as you can see ive opened up a pdf file in microsoft edge here so you can see we have a lot of tools along our toolbar here the classic zooming in out rotating page we also have a drawing feature here and with little drop down arrow you have all these different colors to choose from here you could draw on the page however if you just want to highlight certain areas of the text just highlight over whatever text you want to highlight and right click on it and then select highlight and now you have five different options at the time of this recording so yellow green light blue pink and red and then you just would solve whatever color you want to highlight it pretty straight fo

One of the main reasons why PDFs are not searchable is that they dont include any text. The PDF may be a scanned document or just an image-based document. If thats the case, then there is no searchable text. You can read the text within the image-based document, but the PDF tool cannot.

All you have to do is: Using any browser, open a PDF document (right-click Open with). Press CTRL+F or CMD+F, depending on your operating system. Alternatively, access the Find function in the menu bar. Type and navigate between search results using the arrows next to the search box.
Press CTRL+F (Windows) or CMD+F (Mac). In the text box, enter your search term. The first match will be highlighted. Press Enter or click the right arrow to navigate between the results.
