Problem: Your PDFs Arent Searchable. It may be that you cant search your PDFs because they dont have any text in them. For example, if your PDF is a scanned document, its just a picture of a document. It doesnt have any actual text for Windows to index.
One of the main reasons why PDFs are not searchable is that they dont include any text. The PDF may be a scanned document or just an image-based document. If thats the case, then there is no searchable text. You can read the text within the image-based document, but the PDF tool cannot.
Find and replace. To find and replace text in a single PDF, select the magnifying glass in the menu bar or use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+F on a PC and Command+F on a Mac) to open the Find toolbar.
