One of the main reasons why PDFs are not searchable is that they dont include any text. The PDF may be a scanned document or just an image-based document. If thats the case, then there is no searchable text. You can read the text within the image-based document, but the PDF tool cannot.
To make a PDF searchable using docHub, you can follow these steps: Open docHub on your computer. Click Open. Find and select the document you want to make searchable, then click Open. Head to Tools and select Recognize Text. Press PDF Output Style Searchable Image. Select OK.
Google PDF Viewer will appear as an option on your Android device when you try to open a PDF, or you can select Files by Google. Both these options offer viewing only.
A five-step guide to searching a PDF on your Android. Select the specific PDF you want to search. Look toward the upper right on your screen and locate the magnifying glass. Tap the magnifying glass and type in the text you want to search. Navigate through the search results that pop up.
Scan a document or open the PDF you want to make searchable on your phone and take a screenshot of it. Select the Edit menu, then right-click and choose Select All. This will select all of the text in the file. If nothing is selected, there is no text, and the file isnt searchable.

Look in the Downloads folder. Open your Android app drawer by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Select My Files (or File Manager). Once youre in the My Files app, select Downloads. You can tap the Browse icon at the bottom of your screen to search for a PDF quickly.
