How do I Redact a PDF on Android?

How do I apply redaction in docHub PDF?
Heres how to black out text in a PDF: Open your PDF in docHub. Select Tools, then Redact. Select text. Either double-click to select the text or drag to select lines of text. Apply redaction. Once youve selected the text you want to remove, click Save to apply the changes and save the document.
Why is apply redact greyed out?
If the Mark for Redaction selection is grayed out, then the document has been locked. You will need to open the document for editing. This should be a gray bar across the top.
How do I change redaction settings in docHub?
Click the dropdown, and choose Properties. The Redaction Tool Properties dialog box will appear. In the Appearance tab, select the options you want to change, then click OK.
Why cant I apply redactions in PDF?
This issue is likely related to the specific document you are working on. If the document is a digitally signed PDF file, it cannot be modified anymore, which is why it is not possible to apply redaction to this type of PDF file.
Why cant I search text on PDF?
Problem: Your PDFs Arent Searchable. It may be that you cant search your PDFs because they dont have any text in them. For example, if your PDF is a scanned document, its just a picture of a document. It doesnt have any actual text for Windows to index.

Click Search Remove Text. In the search results, click the plus sign (+) next to the document name to see all occurrences of the word or phrase. Then, select the occurrences you want to mark for redaction: To select all occurrences in the list, select Check All.
Why cant I apply redaction in PDF?
