To make replacements in a text document, start by going to home, then editing, and choose replace. Find and replace a specific word, like "butt" with "the". Next, go to more, format, and highlight. Replace all occurrences of the word "the" with the same word but highlighted. You can choose the color for highlighting in the box provided. To change the color, select a different one. Click on the box again to avoid highlighting something. For case-sensitive replacements, select "match case." Other options are available, such as finding whole words only.
