This tutorial demonstrates how to disable printing on a PDF document using a PDF writer. By selecting the make secure PDF option and deselecting the allowed printing checkbox, the document becomes protected and can only be opened with a secure PDF viewer. The document now has a .pdc extension and printing is disabled, as evident by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer. By following these steps, printing on the PDF document is effectively disabled.

Heres how: Open the document in Power PDF. Navigate to the Security tab and click Manage Security. Check the box that says, Set a password to restrict editing of security settings. Enter a password. Set restrictions, including whether to allow printing and which changes you wish to allow.
