hey guys its Melissa happy Friday we are at so bachi today usually Im used to saying so lets go so just careful about that so so fancy I want to show you guys how to use single line or drawing or what we call on the silhouette side sketch font so these can be what they do for you is they look similar to handwriting as opposed to using a font that will give you like an outline of the word okay where the text so sketch fonts which we have commercial use sketch font on Im so fancy they will give you a single line like handwriting so theyre perfect for things like addressing envelopes or if you want to write on like a little tag or you dont like your handwriting and you want to pretend um so Im gonna show you all you have to do um if you go on to so fancy and you drop down the category youll see the font section and under specialty fonts there its called sketch slash single line sketch drawing because I know our friends on the Cricut side call it different than what our friends o

Open and use Notepad The easiest way to create a text file in Windows is to open up the Notepad software program on your computer. The Notepad is a text editor included with Microsoft Windows. A text file is considered a plaintext file and Notepad is only capable of creating and editing plaintext files.
In Sketch, you can use the default line-height of a font or set your own number in pixels. For most texts, the optimal line-height is between 120145% of the point size.
Text on a path: Creating text on a path using Sketch is surprisingly easy. Simply draw the path using the Pen Tool, then type the text close to that path. Once youve done so, you should select from the Sketch menu Text Text on path. Et voila!
Text Gradients You can do so by right-clicking on the text and selecting the Convert to Outlines option. Alternatively, you can convert to outlines using Command (⌘) + Option (⌥) + O.
Sketch text on any set of continuous curves or edges (including circles or profiles made up of lines, arcs, or splines on the face of a part) and extrude or cut the text. The text is sketched along the outside edge of the face of the part, formatted, then cut. A sketched spline creates an offset edge.
Select the text and go to Text Type on Path, then drag it near the circle. It will snap awkwardly to the circle. Youll have to move the text layer around and watch it reposition inside the circle until you get what you want.
To convert text into vector shapes (and edit them like other vector layers), select your text layer and choose Layer Convert to Outlines. Or press ⌘ ⌥ O . If you apply a boolean operation to a text layer, it will have the same effect as converting to outlines but youll still be able to edit the text layer.
