Sketch measures everything in pixel units, so we need a way to convert our design to the physical world of inches. By now you may have guessed where this is going: 72 pixels in Sketch converts to 1 inch in an exported PDF . An 8.5 11 piece of paper (US Letter) converts to a 612px 792px artboard.
If youre working on a design where its important to be able to see individual pixels, select View Canvas Show Pixels on Zoom or press ⌃ P to enable Pixel Zoom and view individual pixels when you zoom in past 100%.
Open your Sketch file, select a layer, multiple layers or an artboard and click Make Exportable in the bottom right corner. Make sure that format is set as JPEG in the Format dropdown. Adjust the resolution size and hit Export (either Export layers or Export [name of the artboard]).

imagine your Sketch Artboard is 1 inch 1 inch at 72px72px you could still export a 300dpi bitmap by just typing 300w or 300h in the Make Exportable Size field that normally says 1x . Likewise, a 4 inch 4 inch design would need to be 1200px at 300dpi, so youd type 1200w into the Export Setting.
