Text on a path: Creating text on a path using Sketch is surprisingly easy. Simply draw the path using the Pen Tool, then type the text close to that path. Once youve done so, you should select from the Sketch menu Text Text on path. Et voila!
Adding text To insert text, select to Insert Text in the toolbar or menu bar, or press T , then click anywhere on your Canvas and start typing. You can also click and drag to create a fixed size text box. With this, text will wrap onto a new line instead of expanding the size of the text box itself.
Select a different font by selecting the font button. This will launch the font pop-up to select a Font, Font Style, and Height. To choose a vertical alignment instead, from the Sketch menu, clear the line selection, and select the vertical line. After doing so, the text will appear rotated 90 degrees.
