okay in this video im going to show you how to scan a document using the google drive app so this can be done on your chromebook or any android device you cannot do this from an apple device so the first step to scanning a document is installing the google drive app if you have an android device thats already installed but if youre using your chromebook then you need to access the play store you can see here i have the google drive icon and again this is the app and im going to hit once the app is installed i can hit open i only need to the app one time and if im looking to get back to the app i will always go to the play store so im going to open the app once i open the app in the bottom right hand corner im going to select the plus sign and im going to choose to create a new scan its going to ask me if i would like to allow drive to take pictures and record video i do need to allow this in order for the scan to work now you can see that it opens up your came
