Once it has been loaded, click File Spreadsheet Settings in the top-of-the-page menu. Click the General tab in the resulting Settings for this spreadsheet window. Youll notice a drop-down menu labeled Locale that includes the names of various countries. Choose the currency of the country you wish to use.
To find the current rate, simply use the formula: =GOOGLEFINANCE(CURRENCY:SourceCurrencyTargetCurrency), replacing SourceCurrency and TargetCurrency with the relevant currency codes. For example, if you want to convert 100 USD to EUR, youd enter =100 * GOOGLEFINANCE(CURRENCY:USDEUR) in a cell.
To apply a custom currency format to your spreadsheet: On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Highlight the data you want to format. Click Format. Number. Click Custom currency. Search in the menu text box to select a format. You can also add your own custom currency format into the text box. Click Apply.
Sheets: Share with specific people or using a link Open the file you want to share (that you own or have edit access to). Click Share. Enter the email addresses or groups that you want to share with. Choose what kind of access you want to give people: Editor, Commenter, or Viewer. Click Send.
To verify that the correct currency is set as the default, select Number from the Format menu. Locate Currency in the list and verify that it displays the correct symbol for the currency you selected (for example, the dollar symbol ($) in the United States).
Currency Click on the More options button in the upper left corner on the Search page. Scroll down to the Currency field and select your desired currency. Your search results will be displayed in the specified currency.
Check the Spreadsheet locale settings by going to File - Spreadsheet settings - Locale. The default currency is determined by the locale that is selected. I hope this helps! Changing the files locale settings didnt carry over to new sheets.
