Saving a web page Click on the menu button The image new fx menu does not exist., and then click Save Page As . The Save As dialog window will open. In the dialog window, type in a name for the page you want to save and choose a location. Click Save.
Go to about:config page in Firefox, then set browser. altClickSave to true then you can force a download if you hold down the Alt key and left-click the link. I want the browser to automatically download txt files, just like how it automatically downloads PDF files or MP3 files.
How to download a file Tap on a download link. A download confirmation appears, this shows the file name and size. Tap the Download button to confirm you want to download the file. When the download is finished, the Download completed message appears.
You need to go into Tools - Settings - General and set the Action for the types of downloads to Always Ask for those types you want it to. If its set to just Save File then it just saves it in whatever the download directory youve set is.
To do this, follow these steps: Open the web page you want to save as a . txt file in Firefox. Click the File menu and select Save Page As. In the Save As window, select Text File from the Save As Type drop-down menu. Enter a name for the . txt file and click Save.
Save File: Saves the file to the download folder (specified in your Firefox settings, in the General panel Downloads section). Do this automatically for files like this from now on: Check mark this option to always take the selected action and then click OK.
To save a web page as a PDF Open the page you want to save. Tap the menu (three-dots) button in the toolbar. icon at the bottom. Tap Save as PDF.
