In this tutorial, we will learn how to sign a PDF document with a certificate-based digital signature using docHub. To begin, download docHub from its original website for free. To sign a document with a certificate-based digital signature, you need to obtain a digital ID which includes your name, email address, organization name, serial number, and expiration date. In docHub, digital IDs are used to sign documents. Follow the steps to add or create a digital ID by clicking on the edit menu, choosing preferences, selecting signatures, clicking on more for identities and trusted certificates, and then selecting digital IDs. Click on the add ID button to add a digital ID file. If you already have a digital ID, you can add it by selecting the option to add the digital ID file. To create a new self-sign digital ID, type your name, department, organization name, and email address.
At DocHub, your data security is our priority. We follow HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, and other standards, so you can work on your documents with confidence.
