If youve completed your document or want to save the work youve finished so far, here are some steps you can take: Select File Select Save or Save as Choose a location for your file. Choose a file name. Select the format for your file. Use the shortcut save feature to save your document in the future.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S. Go to File Save on the Menu bar. Click the Save icon on the Standard toolbar.
Saving files in Office on Android phones Tap File Save. Move the Autosave slider to Off.
Click FILE Save, pick or browse to a folder, type a name for your document in the File name box, and click Save. Save your work as you go - hit Ctrl+S often. To print, click the FILE tab, and then click Print.
Its important to save your document whenever you start a new project or make changes to an existing one. Saving early and often can prevent your work from being lost. Youll also need to pay close attention to where you save the document so it will be easy to find later.
Select the Save As option from the menu. Choose a location to save the file from the options provided, such as Recent, Add a place, or This PC. Enter a name for the file in the File name box.
Answer: Both the options are present in the file menu in the toolbar and you either access it manually by clicking on the file menu and then selecting the save and save as options or by using the shortcut key Ctrl+S.
