You must have the password to the secured PDF and proper permissions in order to open and copy it. When using Chrome, open the PDF, then click the Print icon. Select Save as PDF, then Save. When using Acrobat Pro, open the PDF file and enter the password.
How to remove password from PDF Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro on Windows or Mac. Choose Tools Encrypt Remove Security. If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it. If the document has a permissions password, type the correct password in the Enter Password box and then click OK.
To save a PDF in Microsoft Edge: Open the PDF in Microsoft Edge. Select Save in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Choose where you want to save the PDF and give it a name.
Click More settings and scroll down to the Options section. Enter a strong and unique password in the Document open password box something only you would know. Click Save to save the protected PDF file with your chosen password. Dont forget it without it, you wont be able to access the file!
3. Password Protect a PDF with Microsoft Word (Free) Launch Microsoft Word. Press Open Browse. Find and Open the PDF you want to protect. Click Ok. Click the File menu. Click Export Create PDF/XPS file. Press the Options button. Select checkbox: Encrypt the document with a password, then click OK.
Launch the UPDF program on your system and import protected PDF via the Open File option. In case the PDF is protected with an open password, you will need to Enter Password and click the Unlock button. This will allow you to access the contents of the PDF file.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. From the All tools menu, select Protect a PDF. From the left panel, select Remove security.
