Contact us
Export contacts Go to Google Contacts. Select one of the following: A single contact: Check the box next to the contact name. At the top right, click More actions. Export. To back up your contacts, select Google CSV. To save your file, click Export.
In the Contacts app on your Mac, choose File Import, select the file, change the encoding if necessary, then click Open. If youre importing a text file, review the field labels.
Save and name a new document Click anywhere in the document window to make it active, then choose File Save (from the File menu at the top of your screen). Enter a name in the Save As field, then enter one or more tags (optional). Click the Where pop-up menu and choose a location. Click Save.
Export contacts on iPhone Open the Contacts app on your iPhone. Tap Lists in the top-left. Touch and hold an existing list (or create a new list by tapping Add List). Tap Export, select the fields you want to include, then tap Done. Choose a method to send or save the exported contact cards, such as Messages or Mail.
Open the Numbers app on your Mac, then open a new or existing spreadsheet. Drag the selected contacts into the Numbers spreadsheet. Choose File Export To, then select an option. The contacts can be exported as an Excel, CSV, TSV, or Numbers 09 file.
If your contacts are synced with your Mac, open the Contacts app and also open a blank Numbers spreadsheet. You can then select all (or some) contacts and drag them from the Contacts app to the Numbers spreadsheet. You can then use File menu Export to export to an Excel or civ format.
How to save your Contacts list as a CSV file in Excel/Google Sheets/Numbers Google Sheets. Select File Download as Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet) Microsoft Excel. Click File Save As This PC. Under Save as type: dropdown, choose CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) Apple Numbers. Click File Export To CSV.
Go to iCloud Show More Apps, switch the Contacts toggle on, and then select Done. Your devices will now sync contacts between them. On some versions of macOS, you just need to tick the box next to Contacts on the Apple ID screen.
