ot of the PDFs they encounter are just text. Another thing you can do in Preview with PDFs is you can actually rearrange the pages. So here I have a multipage PDF and if I click on the sidebar here I can click and drag to rearrange the pages any way I want. So I can move them around here so I can even move this page in between these two pages. Another thing you can do is you can actually combine PDFs in Preview. So I have two PDF files here and I can drag one and drop it right into the sidebar of another and now I have a PDF that has all of the pages from both PDFs combined together here in the sidebar. You can also extract pages. So I can right click here and I can say Extract Pages and I can extract just a single page or multiple pages from my PDF. So you dont need a special app for something like that. In addition to that you can actually annotate PDFs in Preview. So here I can add shapes, I can add text, I can highlight text, I can underline text, I can add lines, I can add your signature. You can actually do a lot of stuff in Preview that you dont need a special PDF editor for. So the basic version of Preview which comes with every Mac is actually a pretty powerful PDF editor.
