heres a samsung phone and i captured a few pictures using the default camera application and now its not creating jpeg files but its creating h-e-i-c files so how to get back to the good old jpeg files well start the camera application its a samsung s20 go to photo photo now go here to the settings wheel in the upper left corner and at picture format formats picture formats high efficiency pictures uncheck this one and now it will create a jpeg files back back so if now i press the shutter button lets hold it like that okay now lets preview it using that one theres the mouse that i just captured come here to the three dots in the corner three dots go to detail details and here we can see its the file name and theres a jpg so thats a jpeg file instead of an h e i c file i can delete this one move to trash
