Navigate to the file menu and select export, ensuring the new PDF saves in the same location as the old version. Check the encrypt box, enter a password, and click Save, then replace. - Open the PDF file in your Google Chrome. - Next enter the PDF password to open the file. - Now Press Ctrl + P or go to file Print Save as PDF. - Save the PDF file in the desired location and the new file will not have any password.
How to unlock a PDF to remove password security: Open the PDF in Acrobat. Use the Unlock tool: Choose Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security.
On your Mac, open the document you want to save as a PDF. Choose File Print. Click the PDF button or click the down arrow to open the PDF pop-up menu, then choose Save as PDF. Choose a name and location for the PDF file.
- Open your PDF using the built-in PDF viewer. - Enter the password to unlock the file. - Tap the menu icon Share Print icon. -Now, specify the destination as Print to PDF to save the file which will be saved in a new location without a password.
If you have the password and just want to save it as an unlocked . pdf, just open the password protected file (with the password) in Preview, choose Save, and change the name (dont select encrypt). The new . pdf file created should open without a password.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open a PDF. Choose File Edit Permissions, then do any of the following: Set a password for opening the PDF: Select Require Password To Open Document. Enter a password, then retype it to verify.

Once you have it, follow these steps: Open Acrobat and open the PDF. Press Command-D to see security options, or click File Document Properties. Type in the password. Choose No Password from the dropdown menu where the password is used. Click OK, then OK again. Save the PDF.
