Since all of your tasks are stored on Exchange Online servers, theyll also appear automatically in Outlook tasks.
To export your lists and tasks, sign in to Outlook.com with the same Microsoft account that you use to sign in to Microsoft To Do. Then, select the cog icon to open your Settings View full settings. From the left navigation pane, select General. Then, select Export from the middle navigation pane.
Since Microsoft To Do automatically syncs with Tasks in Outlook, you can export all your lists and tasks from Outlook. To export your lists and tasks, sign in to Outlook.com with the same Microsoft account that you use to sign in to Microsoft To Do. Then, select the cog icon to open your Settings View full settings.
Restore a list Sign in to Outlook on desktop with the same Microsoft account that you use with Microsoft To Do. Navigate to your email folder list, then select Deleted Items. Locate the deleted folder, right-click it, then select Move Other Folder Tasks.
Open the list that you want to save as a template. On the ribbon, select List, and then select List Settings. In the Permissions and Management column, select Save list as template.
Go to your SharePoint Online List Navigate to Settings List settings. Click on Save list as Template under the Permissions and Management group. Provide the file name and template name. Choose the appropriate option for include content and click OK to create a list template in SharePoint Online.
Microsoft lists are stored in the same place as OneDrive files on a personal site while a SharePoint List will be on the individual SharePoint site that its kept on.
To sync your tasks and lists between your computer and phone, sign in with the same account on each device. Microsoft To Do updates every 5 seconds, so all of your changes should be displayed automatically. Since your tasks are stored on Exchange Online servers, theyll also sync automatically to your Outlook Tasks.
