How to download a Google Docs file from your Android or iPhone Open the Google Docs app and open a document. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the screen. Tap Share export. Tap Save As. Select the file type youd like to save your document as.

Note: If you move folders with a lot of files or subfolders, it might take some time for you to see the changes. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Drive app. Next to the file you want to move, click More. Move. Choose the folder, then tap Move here. To create a new folder, tap New folder .
View a file On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app. In the top left, tap Menu . Choose which files you want to see: Recent: Files youve worked on recently. Starred: Files youve marked as important. Shared with me: Files others have shared with you.
If you are still unable to download a Google Docs file as a PDF, you should check the extensions installed on your browser. Likely, some extensions installed on your browser might not have received updates. This means they are no longer compatible with your browser.
Save a Word file as tagged PDF on your phone. On the File menu, tap Save. On the Save menu, tap Export this file. Enter a File name for the PDF, and tap and select PDF from the File Type drop down.
